Tabletop Roleplaying

Seaxe & Sorcery was founded on tabletop and we rigorously continue this. We have a gaming session most Monday nights. This is in an environment where we have space and freedom with little of the distractions of a normal venue.

We are endeavouring to decorate in a fitting manner that will give our games more atmosphere. Hopefully as this continues you will be able to see the results posted here.

We actively run games of all genres. In the last year alone we have run campaigns of:

Dungeons and Dragons 3rd edition.

Warhammer Fantasy Role Play

Shadowrun 3rd edition

Aliens RPG

Legends of the five rings

Mage

Werewolf

Vampire

Rifts

Palladium fantasy

Tunnels & Trolls

As well as these commercial games our group thrives on innovation and we have active campaigns in cross worlds or in-house games including:

Palladium Contemporary: An amalgamation of the various contemporary Palladium worlds including Heros Unlimited 2, Beyond the Supernatural, Ninjas and Superspies with just a hint of appropriate Palladium Fantasy and Rifts all set against a back drop of a remarkably familiar London in a few years time, although all is not as it appears to the eyes of the everyday world.

Rogue Trader: an interpretation of the WH 40K sci-fi battle game using the WHFRP rules to create a unique world where life and death come quickly and intergalactic intrigue is only a step away.

We tend to run two groups at a time and there are usually between 8-10 players per group. We have occasionally had as many as 18 players in a single group, this is usually when we have two GM's running related missions in the same system (a particular favourite in the Rogue trader campaign when orbital and planetary players are kept separate and only allowed to communicate via radio or when they meet in character. Whilst we have some campaigns that have been running over 10 years we have others that we play once and new games and particularly new GM's are welcome! We run adventures lasting as long as 20 weeks in the game to one week specials and it's easy to be integrated into an existing session. Seaxe & Sorcery has always been and will continue to have a tabletop group.

If you've ever wanted to try roleplaying it's an ideal entry point and all you need to get started is your mind.

Why not come along and give it a try?
