Karate for Christ International is the largest Christian martial arts ministry organization in the world, with members in all 50 states of the United States as well as in 28 other countries. The oranization is a fellowship of believers who firmly believe God has preserved and kept His Word and that we are saved by grace through faith, not of works. We are NOT a parachurch organization in that each Karate for Christ school exists as an extension of the ministry of a local church and refer theological and counseling issues back to the local pastors. The desire of the organization is to win the lost and to encourage believers to get into fellowship in a Bible-believing church. The Mission of Karate for Christ International Is: To proclaim the Gospel of the Grace of God. To reach the lost, mature the saints, serve our communities, and to touch the lives of "at risk youth" and families in need. To do these things throughout the world via the medium, lessons, and discipline of martial arts. To teach the best and most effective martial art we know. To serve God, minister to others, and teach the children well. We also desire to motivate martial artists to help reach the Asian continent with the gospel of grace by supporting Asia Reach Ministries our official Partner in Missions, to give the gospel to the continent that gave us the martial arts. www.KarateforChrist.com

APPOINTMENT OF NEW KFCI BOARD MEMBERS From: President, Dr. Daryl R. Covington, 7th-Dan, Karate For Christ International. Karate for Christ International is not a "STYLE," but rather a Christian martial arts ministry organization. In order to have integrity in promotions, this board must have Authority. We will need a man of straight forward dealings, time in the arts, full of wisdom, and an example of integrity to oversee it. I believe Michael Lewis to be such a man. It is for this reason he will be awarded the rank of 7th-Dan from Karate for Christ International, which will give him the authority to promote and approve up to this rank, with the approval of the proper styles promotion authority. Any promotions to 8th-Dan in any art will be approved by the entire ranking board, and board of advisors.
Therefore, a new board for Karate for Christ has been established and appointed. They serve as the Board of Directors, Karate for Christ International, and advisors to the President.
