The Signification
of Our Patch

The patch or logo of an organization or school, tells the public, its students, and others of its integrity and moral views. But moreover, it say's ...what it believes. Here at Seishin-Do Karate-Karate for Christ, we are no different in that area. Thus,  we believe our patch/ logo has a unique, but a true deeper meaning behind it, than just looking like a "Typical Japanese Style Karate School patch."

So what does it all mean?

The Cross:
This is our ever constant reminder that, Jesus gave his life on it, and that we should "keep our eyes fixed on Christ," who's the author and perfecter of our faith, who endured the cross, scorning its shame. (see Hebrews 12:2)

The Torri (Gateway to a Holy place):
This depicts what Jesus tells us, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me" (see John 14:6)

The Red Circle:
This is the representation of the "Blood" of Christ and his covenant with us. Jesus tells us, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins" (see Matthew 26:28)

The Green Relief (The Vine and Branches):
This depicts that, Christ is the true vine and God is the gardener who cares for the branches and make them fruitful. The branches depict - all who follow Christ.
(see John 15:1-5)
