We are forming a group to work to bring safety and quality of life for both dogs and children. Here's how it works: You sign up as a member. You see an animal in need. You go to Silver City Dogs Deserve Better Groups page and report it to the other members. We work together to see who can: approach the family to educate against chaining; see who can donate time to put up fencing, money or donation for fencing. Simple as that. CHAINING INFORMATION: Dogs that are chained for long periods of time become very aggresive, can and do take this anger out on a child or adult who wanders too close to their space. Dogs are very loving animals who want to be part of a pack. You are their pack. They want to be with you and your family. Dogs need to be socialized with humans. Living chained by the neck is not an option that any human would choose.We need to make better choices for 'mans best friend'. This is the life for a prisoner, not a dog.
