 Baseball Guru -
A variety of oddball baseball information, such as a complete list of retired MLB uniform numbers.
Green Fields of the Mind -
Text of the lyrical ode to baseball written by A. Bartlett Giamatti, former commissioner of Major League Baseball.  Exactly what you'd expect from a Yale professor, but a good read nonetheless.

"It breaks your heart. It was designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then, just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped, and summer was gone."
 Baseball Library -
"The richest collection of organized baseball history information you'll find online."  You can look up detailed MLB Player Biographies, search the Baseball Chronology database, articles about Baseball's Greatest Teams, and Historical Matchups between players of different eras.
 Baseball Scorecard -
Everything you ever wanted to know about keeping score at a baseball game.  Keeping score is something I've never done with any regularity, but a lot of fans feel naked without a scorecard in hand.
 Baseball Lingo -
Learn all the lingo so you can understand what Tex Little is talking about.
 Baseball, by Jendi -
"I have always loved baseball. It has always broken my heart. It has gotten me in trouble like the time I whacked Craig Lynch in the head with abat when I was 5....."
 Celia Tan's "Why I Like Baseball" -
Celia Tan, a professional writer, has assembled a collection of her personalessays on the subject of baseball.  Anyone who has become a fan of the Game, rather than just a fan of a team, will find much familiar in her writing.  I especially recommend "Mar 19 2000: What To Tell Your Friends Who Think Baseball is Boring/Wimpy"
 Cosmic Baseball Association -
This site hits one way out there.  An example:
Bohemians Owner Turgenev Fires Thackeray, Hires Dotoyevsky
The Russian Realists are coming; the Russian Realists are coming! First Ivan Turgenev buys the Eden Bohemians and now he's replacing team coach and English novelist William Makepeace Thackeray with ex-Bohemian coach Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Dostoyevsky was a Bohemian coach during the 1997 season. In fact, Thackeray was the one who replaced Dostoyevsky the following season. The well-liked and respected Thackeray found out about his termination when field manager Fielding Dawson called him into the office late Sunday afternoon after the Bohemians lost 9-3 to the Psychedelphia Woodstockings. According to sources, Turgenev decided to can Thackeray and hire his fellow Russian writer sometime last week.
 Heckle Depot -
The place to get inspiration for your heckling; includes categorized lists of great one-liners.  At last count, this site contains 1046 Big League Heckles.  Such as:  "If you had one more eye you'd be a Cyclops! "
