| Early 2007 brought with it the threat of Death Eaters and suspicious activities in the area. The school was no longer safe. The students were sent home, and Singline Academy was closed indefinitely. Most students were asked to repeat their incomplete grade level, but a few progressed. Some graduated without ceremony or fanfare, and their diplomas were waiting for them when they arrived back home. Communications and travel to and from the Singline area (the Village area included) were shut down. The school was reopened in July, with the promise of classes recommencing in the fall. Slowly students begin to filter back into Texas, and the Village's population begins to swell as the students await the new school year at Singline. Yet the rumors continue to swirl, and the students can't help but wonder who (or what) is behind the strict mandate for the students to keep out of the woods...
