Welcome. We are a small group in Enterprise, AL. This is a local group is for members who can attend meetings in person. If you knit, bring a project to work on, or get help for. If you don't knit, our starting project is a 2-color dish (or face) cloth pattern. You will learn basic knit and purl stitch. Knitting bag (something to hold your stuff) Small scissors Measuirng tape Yarn needles (for weaving in ends) Pencil/paper (post it notes are best) Yarn threader - optional Place markers (a.k.a. stitch markers) You won't need these for a while: Stitch holder Needle sizer First project: 2 different colors worsted weight 100% cotton, size 8 needles. |
