Today I did my first day of my role in Wizard of Oz and it was the best!  My part is "Wonkle"...that is the witch's servant.  Everyone did such a good job...Dorothy got a standing ovation for her "Over the Rainbow".   My friend, Shalyn, is a lollypop kid and she has been doing so good.  Tonight she is spending the night.   We are playing Wizard of Oz. 

 

Well, there is only 2 weeks until the Tucson competition.  My programs are starting to look pretty good.  I'm just having some trouble with my axel.  I really have to work hard this week on it.  Also, did I tell you that I have to get new skating boots?  It's really horrible for my mom.  I have to get the custom SP Teri Deluxe boots and they cost alot of money.  My blades are great so far so no problem there.  We are hoping to be able to pay for them in time to break them in for "Fiesta Skate", which is at the end of April.

Have you been watching the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City?  I have been taping the whole thing so I can watch it again.  I really liked the Canadian Pairs...too bad there had to be such a scandal.  I feel like I already know about the judging problem...seems I've had that happen to me over and over.  My mom tells me that I can only control what I do and not what others do so I just go out and skate my heart out and be happy with what I've done...if I get a medal it's just icing on the cake.  But, it's terrible that people have to cheat...

 

Well, better go for now.  I'll write again later because I want to update you some more on my competitions, the Wiz of Oz (I'll be taking pics) and everything else...Olympics, etc.
