Hi! Skating is going great! I'm really enjoying every minute on the ice! I also enjoy skating with the others, Tenile Victorsen, Saki Fumita, Bianca Butler and Joseph Jacobsen, as well as William and Alexandria, etc. Amber Corwin has been on the ice lately. She must be getting ready for the show. She is really nice. Actually, everyone has been really nice here. They all work hard and have fun at the same time. The Torrance rink is a great place! It's small and nothing fancy but it's awesome! Angela and Ivan's kids are competing in the Hidden Valley competition that is coming up July 6th and 7th. It's in Escondido. My mom and I are going to try to go cheer on my new friends. I can't wait until I'm ready for competition!
We are staying in Long Beach right now until we actually get in our own place. I love it by the beach. I hope we find a place that is close by because I want to run in the sand every day.
Well, I gotta go for now. My mom and I are babysitting Madisen, Chris Bennett's daughter. He has a comedy show to do tonight and his wife wanted to be with him, so we are babysitting. My brother Josh went too. I think Josh is hosting a show tonight, too. Chris and Josh are very busy with their lives in the comedy world and I'm so proud of them.
Will write soon...lots of love,

Sorry it's taken me so long to update. I am so busy these days, but I promise to try harder at updating my journal. I am so glad we came here to California. I know I keep saying that but I honestly can't stop saying it. I'm just so happy here. We are still staying with my brother, Josh, in Burbank and I travel every day to skate almost an hour away. I love Angela and Ivan and am so excited to have the two of them as coaches.
Today my mom and I went to the Orange County Open Competition to cheer on Katlynn McNab and Kelsey Marie Little from the Coyote's Club. They both did so great in their short programs. Katlynn won and Kelsey placed 4th. Way to go! Tomorrow I will skate in the early morning and then go watch them compete their FS. My mom took some pics of us so I'll share them as soon as we get them developed.
I'm so excited with my skating right now. I LOVE being on the ice! Angela has me on this diet that I am not quite doing all the way yet but I will get there. For breakfast I have oatmeal, for lunch it is nothing but salad greens and for dinner it's oatmeal again. I have never been an oatmeal eater but Angela said I will for sure become one....LOL!
Well, gotta get to bed. I'm getting up early to skate before going to the competition. I'll update tomorrow and let ya all know how Katlynn and Kelsey do.
Love forever,

Ok, so I'm finally in SoCal and beginning a new journey with my skating. I've never been happier in my life as I am right now. I love it here in LA and I love my new coaches, Angela Nikodinov and Ivan Dinev. I'm so excited every morning when I wake up to go skate. I think the best thing about my new coaches is the way they teach me HOW to train.
My mom and I are staying with my brother, Josh, in Burbank. He lives in a large house with another comedian friend, Chris Bennet, and his wife and little girl named Madisen. She is five years old but SOOOOO smart. She is just the funniest girl too. We have a lot of fun together when I'm not at the rink training. My brother, Josh, and his friend Chris are working their way to making it in stand up comedy. They are both awesome comedians and they go almost every night to perform somewhere in the area. To check out my brother, go to www.joshskalniak.com . I'll get Chris's website and post it too as soon as I can.
I love how close I am to my other brother, Jeremy, too. It's only a 5 1/2 hour drive so we can go visit on weekends when I get time off the ice. I love being close to my brothers again. I really missed them! I really need my family and I think that is probably true for most people.
I have so much to write but right now I'm really tired and it's late so I'll try to write tomorrow when I have more time. Anyway, I really praise God for this time in my life. For from Him, through Him and to Him are all things. (Romans 11:36)
Love always,
Sarah Kidd
