I feel we really started the take off of skimboarding in Broadstairs and the surrounding areas. We were down the beach everyday during last Summer and the year before skimboarding, doing whacky tricks that has raised the appeal of it to most people down the beach. Due to the interest last Summer the amount of skimboards sold dramatically increased. Rather than them knowing me by name i was known as the good skimboarder.
