By Michael Moore. WARNING- this book contains some profanity. Book Description (from amazon.com) When the powers-that-be succeeded in ignoring—and then silencing—the nation’s widespread dissent over war, one man stood on an Oscar stage and, in front of a billion people, outed the commander in chief for his fictitious presidency and his fictitious war. Now, just a few months later, those words have remarkably become the accepted truth of the land. Yes, MICHAEL MOORE is the scourge of Stupid White Men everywhere. He’s taken on fat cats, gun nuts, lying politicians. The Guardian describes him as "a wake-up call, a kick in the mental backside." And now he’s back—daring to ask the most urgent question of these perilous times: Dude, Where’s My Country? MICHAEL MOORE is on a mission in his new book: Regime Change. The man who slithered into the White House on tracks greased by his daddy’s oil buddies is one of many targets in Mike’s blistering follow-up to his smash #1 hit Stupid White Men, the biggest-selling nonfiction book of the year. Now no one is safe: corporate barons who have bilked millions out of their employees’ lifetime savings, legislators who have stripped away our civil liberties in the name of "homeland security," and even that right-wing brother-in-law of yours (yes, we all have one) who manages, year after year, through his babbling idiocy, to ruin Thanksgiving dinner. Buffalo Woman Comes SingingBy Brooke Medicine Eagle. I will try to explain this book to you, But I must say it is one of many that I will put here that is a must read for the growth for spritual growth. The White Buffalo Woman reminded the people then, and reminds us today, of the intricate web of life of which we are a part, and that our honoring of the holiness-the wholeness-of that web is the only way we will be able to move through this crucial time into a new era of harmony, beauty, and abundance. Her words spoke of each thing and each day as holy, and thus to be treated by us as such. Creator's law of oneness, given us when the world was formed, is that we must be in good relationship with all things and all beings--with All Our Relations.Brooke Medicine Eagle also has a beautiful Blacktail Ranch in Great Falls Montana, where there are teachings, ceremonys, dancing, singing, and praying. I have been there and stayed for 2 weeks I didn't want to leave it is so very enlighting for the soul. She als has tapes that you can get, I don not know if she has a web site but here is an address and phone number where you can find her books and tapes and much more info. I got her book from a powow so they are there also. Brooke's Singing Eagle office at # 1 2nd.
