Arthur $& Miriam A

It was a dark & stormy night . . . er, oops, it was a bright & sunny morning . . . when Arthur & Miriam decided to introduce themselves. The topic in the chatroom on Sunday, August 24th, 2003 here at Soul Quest was spirit guides. A few questions and opinions had been bantered back & forth when a feeling that could not be ignored snuck up on The Rev. She stated simply, "I think we have a spirit guide here at Soul Quest". Shortly after typing those words, Barb pulled a "brb" to go get rid of some coffee that had worked its way through her system.

Yes, the McLaughlin's powder room is where Arthur & Miriam decided to present themselves! Arthur timidly squeezed his way out of  The Rev's subconscious into her conscious mind, showing himself to be a mid-40-ish bow tie & tweed jacket sort. Arthur is a serious professor of metaphysics from England. Think Giles on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". He is tall, slender & has sandy hair that is graying at the temples. His rimless glasses perch low on his aquiline nose to aid his piercing, steel-blue eyes. Arthur is here to steer us in the right direction as far as our metaphysical information is concerned.

But we here at Soul Quest are not limited to merely one spirit guide. To balance out Arthur's serious nature, the Universe has also blessed us with Miriam! She shoved Arthur aside to make sure Barb knew she was there. She is a wacky, aging, hippy chick - plump, short in stature, with long, frizzy auburn hair & brown eyes. She is a ball of fire that refuses to be ignored! Tie-dyed caftans & jute sandals are her daily uniform. Miriam is here to remind us to have fun on our spiritual path.
