| GUIDELINES Before joining the Community, there are a few things that as a member are expected of one. CONDUCT 1) Negativity in word or deed, such as flaming, bad mouthing a member, foul language, and arguing are not tolerated here. There are Empaths and Sensitives in this group; angry or criticizing language is the same as a physical assault. This will not be tolerated. Critisism without a positive solution to the problem serves no purpose anyway and it causes hurt feelings to the person it is directed at. 2) Manners are expected here at all times. Keep in mind that when you are asking a question, you are expecting someone to give you the gift of his or her time to answer it. Please treat it as such. 3) I do not have all of the answers, as I am in the learning process myself in many areas. In general, I do not answer questions, unless I am asked by name. 4) Please read your material before you post it. It would be helpful if you ran it through spell check first, but what I am talking about is material that could be potentially harmful to others. Spells that are manipulative or involve the harming of self or others are not permitted here. 5) Above all, be kind and considerate to others. Remember that although you may be proficient at one subject, does not mean that everyone else in the group here is, including myself. Opinions are encouraged, but please be nice. 6) Please do not put links to other communities or lists on the message boards. A link to another site is all right, as long as you give an explanation as to why you are recommending it in the first place. You can place any links you like on the Links page. 7) In general, please do not promote commercial sites unless they are of service to those who need materials for the classes presented here. I will be mentioning the SpiriTopics Domain Website for those who are interested. 8) If you have a conflict with another member, take it off of the Community. PARTICIPATION NOTE: SPAM will not be tolerated here. It is not considered participation and is not contributing anything of significance. Those who do so will be banned immediately, reported to MSN and any other group that the message was sent to. My definition of SPAM is: a message that was sent to a multitude of groups or destinations that was unsolicited. 1) Members are expected to contribute. I have a problem with those who lurk and don't even say 'hello', while expecting others to do all of the work. If you are one of these people who are rude in this fashion, perhaps you need to find another group. We are here to communicate and learn from each other, not to feed off a person's energy by doing nothing to contribute. NOTE: I do 'housecleaning' every three months; if you have not contributed THREE POSTS PER CURRENT QUARTER or contact me personally as to why you wish to remain in this group, you will be removed from it. This means one message per month/12 per year. 2) Contests are designed to encourage member participation, especially the Member of the Month Contest in which the member who contributes the most in the way of pictures and messages will get a free 10 Card Tarot reading from me. READINGS 1) The Readings and Dream Interpretations are free in the sense that the member is not charged, monetarily. 2) The Readings and Dream Interpretations are given to Contributing Members of a minimum of five pictures and messages only. No exceptions are made here and guests do not receive free readings. 3) The reason this stipulation has been made is because people were coming on to the Community just to get a free reading (sometimes more than one from one or more readers), getting what they wanted and leaving without saying thank you to the reader(s) or contributing to the community. IMHO, this is rude. 4) Treat the Readers with respect since they are giving you their time and energy. 5) To discuss a reading with other members is rude in that it is disrespectful of the reader and you are telling things that are none of anyone's business. You would not like the reader to discuss your reading with others, which is very unprofessional, so please do not do the same thing. NOTE: Due to my very busy schedual, I do not visit as often as I would like, but I do receive the postings to this group in my e-mail. Therefore, I do not answer questions unless they are asked of me specifically and by name. To do so, please post them on NEFER'S BOARD. If there is a problem that needs to be addressed off of the group, you can contact me directly at MY E-MAIL. It is my hope that should you decide to stay with us, that you have an enlightening and sharing journey. Love and Light,
