| The Journey Workshop Experience On 16th November 2002 I went on a Workshop on the Journey run by Linda Markley in Brighton, UK. The group consisted of 12 people of all ages and from all walks of life. The workshop consisted of a short introduction of The Journey, its background and claims, massage trains, meditations and a discussion of our personal issues. I was amazed to find that basically we all had the same issues in different guises. We paired up to take our partners on a journey. The sheets used to work through the journey did tend to be rather confusing although they were colour coded. I worked with a young lady who had journeyed before. She went through the levels of emotion easily but got stuck in a “lost” stage. she found it very hard to let go and launch off from there and kept trying to come back up. Eventually with help she managed to go down into the Source. At the campfire she talked through the problem with her parents and was eventually able to forgive them and we continued up the levels. She looked happier and felt that the future her would hold no more real problems for her. She wrote the letter to herself. It was my turn. The levels were reasonably easy but it took some effort to make the leap into Source. The campfire tended to be rather draining but eventually I forgave those who were involved in the issue. For some members of the group it was a very emotional day but most thought it had been of benefit. At the end of the session I felt absolutely drained and unable to stay awake. Other than that there appeared to be no change. I was tired for 3 days…and then suddenly the changes started. My back and neck seemed to unlock…my ankle just recovering from a break was no longer painful and I had more energy than I had enjoyed for a very long time…….and I am a sceptic! Scatz November 2002 |
