to the St. James Monastery of the Church of Seven Planes.
We are a group of contemporary monks who live in and participate in the world but who have also chosen to walk a monastic path.
We welcome all monks of Order of St. James. We encourage all of our monks to share and express their ideas, contemplations, insights, etc.
Please know that this is NOT a role playing message board. We are REAL contemporary Monks of many different faiths and spiritual pathways. We are real people living in the real world and our posts herein are real. We ask that you do not attempt to turn our virtual monastery into a role playing game (your posts will be deleted).
We ask that you be respectful to others on this board whether you agree with them or not and whether you like them or not. Let love and understanding be your guiding principles here. Let your thirst for wisdom and understanding be found here as we seek to know and understand each other.

This Monastic Order is an auxillary of the Church of Seven Planes.
If you would like to join this Order you MUST FIRST join the Church of Seven Planes. You may do this by going to the following link. After you have joined the Church of Seven Planes you may then apply to join the Order of St. James group here on MSN groups.

Upon applying to join the Order of St James group you MUST indicate on your application to join OSJ that you are an ordained monk or minister through the Church of Seven Planes. You MUST also give your REAL NAME. This will be verified and if your name is not found your membership in this Monastic Order WILL NOT be approved.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 17 YEARS OLD TO JOIN & PARTICIPATE IN THIS ORDER!! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!
If you do not tell us your name when you apply to join then your request to join will be AUTOMATICALLY deleted.
