The www.catholic.com site has an extensive library covering many topics: God and Christ; Scripture and Tradition; Church and Papacy; Salvation and more.
 
For a general purpose Catholic web site, go to www.catholic.org (simply click the link).  This site has an exceptional database of saints.  The Saints Index is an expansive list of Saints that contains all known information pertaining to each Saint.

EWTN is a global Catholic network site at http://www.ewtn.com/index.htm that is full of good information.  With drop down menus such as Faith, Libraries, Gallery, News and more, this site is an expansive source of Catholic data.  It even contains daily Mass readings and Sunday homilies.
