Hey, they may have condemned and levelled the school building--and remembering the bathrooms, I know why--but we're still here! So, can we talk? Can we try to reconnect with old friends? Reclaim some of the treasures we've lost? Such as daily Mass ("Hey, you rear-enders! Keep your butt off the seat when you kneel!"), May Crownings, the change from Latin to English, spelling bees, Beatlemania, CYO events: football, basketball, volleyball, kickball, swimming...What are your memories? Where are you now? Want to hook up with your best buddies again, maybe? The experience was real, not just a fuzzy spot in your memory. Here's proof, because the parish is still there, at 645 Rhode Island, where it has stood since 1917. Some of your classmates are still around, too, and...WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! Where are you, your parents, your siblings? Where did you go when you left the old neighborhood, and what are you doing these days? Is it possible that we can find our old parish? If we can't turn back time to return to the old neighborhood, why not form a virtual community? Just look for the link on the left-hand toolbar which says "Join Now." Help us find more of YOUR friends, so when you join us at the next Reunion, you will find it much more meaningful to you...Oh, and be sure to check out the Contact List and Reunion pages - I'll just bet you'll find some familiar names and faces! |
