In all ‘three’ of the above cases John speaks of his confusion of ‘missing time’ episodes of several hours or more that he cannot account for. It is only when the experiencer is subjected to hypnotic regression via a professional hypnotist that he/she can remember what occurred during those lost hours - otherwise the abduction can be remembered as distorted dreams or flashbacks. When there is an alien abduction event relived under hypnosis, it is discovered that the abductee is made to forget his/her abduction experience by the alien beings. This will result in confusion for the experiencer, who may only consciously recall ‘missing time’. The alien beings can allegedly take an individual from his/her surroundings, and then replace them in more or less the same position they were in before they were taken – giving the illusion that several hours of time have past in the blink of an eye. (As possibly in John’s case.)
The majority of abductions however, occur in the early hours of the morning whilst the abductee is asleep in his/her bed. When this happens the ‘missing time’ will not be recognized by the experiencer - it is only when there is an abduction whilst the experiencer is fully conscious that missing time can be positively identified. The possible signs that an abduction event has taken place are when the subject awakens in the morning to find strange marks on his/her body. Nosebleeds can be a strong feature just after an abduction. There are also the strange odours, of which have been reported stale cheese, rotten leaves and smoldering cardboard. Some experiencers have reported awakening in a different part of the house to where they first fell to sleep. Also, some experiencers on awakening have reported their underwear missing, or of their nightgown or pajamas being worn back to front.
John wrote of a dream that his sister had when she was around the age of ‘nine’, and which appears to be related to their UFO sighting whilst they were biking in the countryside. She mentioned that little grey beings took them aboard a craft and put a ‘pea’ up her nose. Nosebleeds are usually attributed to these small objects being inserted in the nasal passage. The reason could be for ‘tracking’ – much the same way humans track certain animals with devices in order to monitor their progress within their environment. There could be other explanations for the implants of course, but there is yet to come forward any reasonable theories as to their purpose. My sister once reported to me of an experience where she was in a room of somekind. There were others in the room, and one man in particular was having something put up his nose. He seemed to be struggling with this by waving his arms around. My sister then asked if she was to receive one, but the unseen guide with her simply said, "We don’t have to – you already have one."
Implants are not only inserted up the nose, but can be found in the brain, ears and anywhere in the arms, legs and feet – especially the toes. It is interesting that many abductees have perforated eardrums – is this the result of implants being inserted into them? Scarring has also been found in the nasal passage of abductees.
Below is a communication from a young native Canadian woman after she read of my experience of finding three red circles on my upper right arm after awakening early one morning. The first two circles were the size of a penny; the third however was slightly smaller and offset in a downward position to the first two. All three circles were perfect in their form and outline. The three red circles were organized in a similar design to the pyramids of Giza (Egypt) and Teotihuacan (Central America). I have three blue tattooed dots on my left wrist that is also arranged in this fashion – these tattoos were put on my wrist when I was around 14 years old. The three red circles on my upper right arm faded very quickly in a matter of minutes before my eyes - and I knew that they would - my only regret was that I didn't have a Polaroid camera ready at the time!
Here follows an exchange of information between us:
I was having the sensation of entering the middle of a kaleidoscope of colours, it was like I was floating or flying and I was feeling dizzy. I have had these sensations all my life. I thought it was normal--but realized that not many people have had these experiences.
I woke up lying on a stretcher like bed, and covered with a white sheet, with a pure bright white light shining down on me. There was a divider separating another girl and myself in this huge dark room. I heard her crying, and it echoed. I said 'where are we' and she said 'they're coming!’ Just then I saw two dark figures pass the foot of my bed and head for the other girl. Then they came to me with what looked like a huge syringe in their hand. I tried to run, but I couldn't move.
I tried to fight it, and I found myself running, but the harder I tried to escape the more slowly I moved.
I then found myself running in a different area...but there were coloured circles all around me - chasing me. The circles were all different shapes and colours. It is then that I felt a needle being injected into what seemed my heart. I felt the needle enter my body, I felt the cool liquid fill my chest. And just as I was falling to the ground, I woke up running down the hallway of my house. I was running full speed - but it was like I had just ran out from my wall.
I stopped when I reached the living room, where my parents were sitting. I told them what had happened, and they said 'go to bed, you were dreaming'.
For about 1 week or more, I had severe heart pains. I could only take short quick breaths as it hurt to breathe - I could not take deep breaths. With this symptom, I had severe headaches and nausea. I also suffered insomnia all my childhood and teenage years due to the intense dreams and strange visitors that I've had.
I could not explain to the doctor that these symptoms happened after a wake dream...they would have thought I was crazy. All he said to me was, "You’re too young to have migraines, and there is no way you could have a heart condition."
Strange, I never thought of the circles being anything. However, I have a rare skin problem, where I have circles all over my body. They look like burns. They are red, with dry peeling skin in a circle. They get inflamed every once and awhile, and a few times a year I break out with more. The doctors try to give me creams and medications but nothing works. a few doctors even misdiagnosed the circles as being 'ringworm' as they resemble ringworm. My brother gets these too.
In 1979, I was 7 years old, my two brothers were 6 years old and 9 months old. We had a close encounter, which was very traumatic. My brother and me remember some of the event, and my 9-month-old brother nearly died after our encounter. He has had strange occurrences all his life too--with these same skin problems. He is now 23 years old. He thought that the strange things in life were 'normal' - missing time, waking up in a different area of the house, waking up with bruises and strange marks on his body.
