Thankyou for your sharing your experiences. There are many points within your close encounter with the UFO that could suggest you, your partner, or both could have had an alien abduction. The object sounds like a typical UFO, and I trust your perceptions of it as being accurate. The fact that it was low down and emitted no sound, and of your still not being able to identify it even through binoculars, strengthens your case for the object being 'unidentifiable.' The next observation of the object coming towards you both, and of your partner standing outside whilst you went indoors, sounds almost like the Barney and Betty Hill case from the 1960’s - where Barney stood watching the UFO through the binoculars, whilst Betty preferred the safety of the car. She too like you panicked for her husband to come away from observing the ariel object.
It is of your partner coming indoors after your insistence, and of your confusion to regain the memory of the missing hours in between 6.20pm and 10.30pm, that suggests you may have had more than a mere UFO sighting. You wrote of your dreams being identical in parts - the both of you being 'separated' during the onset of a possible abduction experience could quite easily explain the parts of your dreams that were identical or similar to those that were not. I would have liked to know more of your partner’s dreams - especially the parts that did not match your own. At this point in my reading of both your experiences, it would seem that ‘you’ were the center of attention.
I am interested in the concept of your 'running away' or 'needing to escape’ - many abductees have these, and are indeed very common. I have had countless vivid dreams myself where I have been running away from half-a-dozen black dogs or horses. I would be sometimes running in slow motion - which probably indicates an 'hopeless predicament' within the dream, and perhaps signifying some sort of paralyzed condition during the onset of a possible abduction (again very common). The black dogs and black horses themselves may have represented the alien beings within my lucid dreams. I say this because in one very vivid dream of black dogs - they were pursuing me along side a busy road (remember starseeker’s black panthers?). It turned out they were after the ‘sausage sandwich’ that I was eating! Because they would not leave me alone despite all my protestations - I decided to give them some of the sandwich. I then threw a piece down on the ground for them, and they all gathered around my ‘offering’, and I was able to escape. My interpretation of this dream is as follows: The black dogs were the grey aliens; the sausage sandwich represented my ‘genetic material’ that the aliens were after, and once obtaining it they left me alone. The busy road could have been the symbolic of the fact that alien abductions is taking place within the midst of human society, and still humanity is ‘blind’ to what is taking place. Although I was by the side of the busy road while the dogs were pursuing me, the traffic and people were totally oblivious to my plight!
It is what you wrote next that intrigued me - you wrote of submerging yourself in a water trough without really understanding why you would do this! I need to inquire whether this trough was full or partly full of water at the time? Many abductees have had lucid dreams or flashbacks of being submerged in a watery like substance. I have had this myself. I have a perforated eardrum (an abductee trait), and I am not supposed to allow water to enter my ear, but in a vivid dream I remember being suspended underwater, and then strangely of opening my mouth and breathing in the watery fluid on purpose! This shocked me and I woke-up. Please let me know if the trough contained water!
You spoke of astral travelling shortly after your UFO experience - would it be possible to relate this experience to me? After my own abductions, I would have lucid dreams of ‘flying’ at nighttime. I would fly in between skyscrapers, and over lakes. My sister too is an abductee, and her conscious recollections became clearer in the mid-eighties, as did mine. She also began astral travelling after her experiences.
During my sister’s experiences at a time when she was totally ignorant of the alien abduction phenomenon, she would relate her experiences to me - this is before either of us had read anything to do with alien abductions. She once spoke to me about being taken by an unseen figure to a building. Inside there were long corridors with many doors on either side. She mentioned opening one of the doors to a room and saw a man lying in bed - but he didn't seem to be physically normal in the human sense. A little later in the same flashback or lucid dream, she was given a baby to hold. My sister was confused because it looked as if it were cross between a human and a monkey. This dream was obviously distorted in it's content. I don't believe the baby was half human and half monkey, but perhaps half human and half alien (Grey?). She has had many experiences with powerful flashbacks that include children coming to her with their faces hazy, as if their faces were being hidden on purpose from my sister's eyes. I believe this could be due to the possibility that the babies had alien features. Therefore your dream of the alien child, and of being told that it was yours doesn't surprise me. My elder sister recently reported to me of an experience she had after falling asleep. She found herself in somekind of long corridor, and was led into a room by an unseen guide. The room was small, but contained a dozen or so young children in it – all seated. As my sister looked around, it suddenly (through instinct) occurred for her to ask which child was around eleven years old. One young boy said, "It’s alright, I know you love, and that I am within your heart all the time!" My sister replied, "What have ‘they’ named you?" The boy simply replied, "John." My sister then continued to look around the room at the children, and then said, "Who are you?" The reply was immediate and unanimous, "We are your children!" Tell me Sarah, did you have knowledge of the alien abduction phenomenon during your dreams of the alien child?
You wrote of your interests in life involving microbial science genetics. This fits the alien abduction theme, which I have come to feel is a possible agenda for the reproduction of a new energy form or body for the light-perceptions (souls/spirits) of a species that need this transformation for their survival. I am an abductee myself and I have had a deep understanding of this long before I read anything to do with alien abductions. I seemed to 'know' with instinct that I wasn't a part of my surroundings or humanity. I also feel that alien abductees have the light-perceptions (souls, spirits) of the aliens - my instincts have always told me this, and my research is leading me in this direction. The abduction phenomenon is also I believe benevolent and not malevolent.
