Cracksound is derived from sources diverse.  House, (Acid, Junglist, Hardcore, Detroit Techno) Ska, Reggae, Funk, Swing, Jive, Rock 'n' Roll & Hip-Hop entwine with melodies from Hungary, Romania, Ireland, Scotland, France, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, & Louisiana!!  All boiled up and refined to give you the pure top-ranking juice of UNSanity that is CRACK.  NOT the rock, NOT the fissure, NOT the hair-pie, NOT the breakdown' (Mental though it may be) but breaking down the barriers, breaking into the mix, stimulising the humour glands, while, sticking the knife in the pricks and tricks of petty personal, & national politics.

Demon Seed AKA Demmy

Started singing with Edinburgh Jazz-Funkers - High Street (1976-78)

Came to England '79 co-founded Punk Funk & Reggae outfit -Your Dinner (1980-86)

Formed "Filthwave" improvisers - Felcher Club (1984-88)

Worked singing, song writing, & rearranging acoustic folk with Pluck This, (1985-92) who played Irish, Scottish, French, & Cajun fiddle and pipe tunes rearranged with new lyrics, rap and human-beatbox over bodhran, congas, drums and acoustic guitar. 

Tout Le Porc Danceband (91-93), Acoustic bass, fiddle, Cajun squeezebox, guitar, and drums, used to hastar@- Cajun, French.  Bluegrass, & Western Swing.

Since 1993 has been enslaved to CRACK program

Steve Semen AKA Steve A La Vac

The only one who can bridge Nervus Norvus via Louie Jordan to War.  An Asset.

Most harmonica players cite Sonny Boy Williamson as an original inspiration, but having gone out with Sonny's reputed sister, - Girly Bint Williams of the famous Toothless Williams Sisters, Steve would appreciate if there were no further mention of this period in his life.  He has however sung, written and played harmonica with Big T-Total and the Half-cuts, The Herbs, Blown-Mad, & Stormed.  For the past four years Steve has formed and toured with his own Hoover-Billy specialist bands The Shake'n'Vacs, The Disposables & Jump, Bump & Boogie.  He also continues to play with himself in the bath and cites Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Screaming Lord Sutch, and that less than comfortable band, the Screamin' AbDabs as major influences. He has been described as "The founding member of the Chicory Tip Appreciation Society, the buttock-clenchingly attractive, the thigh-grippingly talented, his harmonic highness, your Rock 'n' Roll playmate for the evening...............”
