How do I join?

Do I need to be very fit or a strong swimmer?
No you don't! (You should see some of us!) If you can swim 8 lengths of a standard swimming pool (no hurry) duck dive a few times and tread water for 1 Min. your fit enough :-)
When does your next course start?
We generally train on Sunday afternoons during the winter months with courses starting in Sept. & Jan. but please feel free to contact us at any time, we may be able to fit you in!
I cannot make Sunday afternoons,
Sometimes we can offer training on Wednesday evenings, please ask. If you can’t make either then we can't help you (Shame!)
You can find details of other SAA clubs (who train on different days) on the SAA web site (click here to visit the SAA web site)
I wear glasses / contact lenses can I still dive?
Yes! There are two options, you can wear contact lenses whilst diving (I use daily disposable) or have prescription lenses fitted to your mask.
