Use this icon to hyperlink text and graphics to sites you wish to have them access.  To do this either highlight the text or click on the graphic so that it is highlighted and then click the icon from your message board editor or from your page editor.

Type in the link (site address) you would like your text or graphic to go to when it is clicked.  Then click Insert and save your page.  Test it by clicking the text or graphic you used to hyperlink the site.

 

You can also hyperlink specific community pages by using the drop down arrow located here.

You can also insert email addresses using the  hyperlink icon.  Simply click it and when the box pops open drop down the arrow on the left side of the box and choose  mailto: and type in the full email address in the space provided.  Then click insert and save your page or send your message if you're on the message board.

When you click it... this box will pop up... You will have a complete list of communities that you are a member of listed on the left side of the dialog box.  You can choose any of the communities by simply clicking on their name and wait for the drop down box to appear that will include a listing of all of that communites photo albums. (example below)

 

 

I chose my own personal photo album called BluesBabe.  As you can see the drop down lists the albums that are in my community "BluesBabe".  By simply clicking an individual album like "Native American" as I did... The photos begin appearing on the right side of the screen.  To choose one to add to a message board simply click the photo that is displayed.  You will see it highlighted around the edge and then click the Add Photo button.  Wait for the photo dialog box to do its work and it will go back to the "Message Editor and take the photo that you chose along with it.

This is useful for changing the design on your pages.  I sometimes use "other font" feature because I like to use "Tahoma" font on most of the pages I build.  One word of caution.  If you are using a super fancy font that you had to download and install from a separate source,  it may not be able to be seen by those who do not have it installed... so keep it simple unless you plan to provide the font for download.
