Our American Bulldogs come from the MGK, Sure-Grip, and old country white lines. We started our kennel with Glory and have grown to 6 American Bulldogs. Above is Froggy, a pup from the first litter produced by Swampdog Kennels.
Pictured above is our foundation female "Swampdog's Glory Girl". Swampdog Kennels is a weight pulling kennel and we breed for working capability in weight pulling. Temperment is very important to us along with a great drive. Please visit some of the links to the left to see our AB and their accomplishments.
Pictured above is "Swampdog's Casper" who owns the World Record in the IWPA 100# weight class on snow. Our American Bulldogs are bred with the intent to produce weight pulling dogs. The working capabilities of the Am. Bulldog are important to us and weight pulling has proven a great test. These dogs are naturally protective of their homes and will make a great family guardian.
Favorite Book for Training
Please take the time to read the book "Don't Shoot the Dog" by Karen Pryor. This book has helped me in training my dogs, my husband, and my sons. It is a great book on classical conditioning and will teach you how to guide people and animals into behaviors that you want them to learn. Whether it is to "sit" or getting the dishes done in a timely manner.
