The management of the Great Dane Room would like to thank-you in advance for respecting our rules and following the board etiquette. If you do end up having a problem, or see a post that should not be on the boards, that the managers have not seen, please feel free to email the managers and one will get back with you through email as soon as possible or attend to the post.

E-Mailing Managers

In the left hand column at the very top, click on 'What's new.' On the right hand side of the 'What's new page', you will see 'Members tools.' Looking down that list you will find, 'send e-mail to managers.' Click on it and a page will come up already addressed to the managers. All you have to do is add a subject into the subject bar and then type what you would like to say, report, or ask the managers then hit send.

Board Etiquette

It is considered yelling when using all caps when you are writing on the internet. Please adjust your personal computer settings if you have difficulties in reading the typed word. Please do not use caps other than for capitalizing the beginning of a sentence or for names in the subject bar of your posts.

Please add NDR (Non Dane or Non Dog Related) to your subject bar when it applies. It is a polite consideration to the other members."

Thank-you again, the Great Dane Room management team.

We are all excited when we are getting a new puppy.   We all like to share that event.  Please do tell us when you are "expecting"  BUT please don't share who your breeder is.    This group is not meant to be an ad for any breeder.  It is not the place to 'endorse' a breeder nor to condem a breeder.  We can hope to educate buyers, but not on specific breeders only in general.  We do not want to become filled with ads of any kind.  It's against our rules to advertize, and we will take postings that enclude breeders as ads.  Be careful of the rules...this is a bannable offense.
