Warranties for equipment for 1 year manufacturers warranty, 3 years for the compressor and 10 years parts and labour . A split system is recommended with units in each room - a system type means that you have all the units on, but with a split system you can turn off the ones you do not need. Typical prices for units are 9000BTU for a typical bedroom $500 up to 24000BTU for a very large lounge $1155. You can also get stand-alone units.
