Healing Spirit Rattle Class
We will use leather, feathers, paint, woodburning, beads... to embellish a seedpod rattle. The rattle heads are filled with copper shot; copper is a known conductor of energy; as you shake your rattle you send healing energy into the Universe!
We will end the class with a blessing of the rattles.
Medicine Bag
Create a personal deerskin medicine bag; fill it with special rocks, herbs, magickal keepsakes to wear close to your heart. You may wish to adorn your bag with paint, feathers, gemstones, beads.....Blessing ritual at end of class.
HOOP DRUM MAKING CLASS
I am holding my Elkskin drum. The amazing thing about elkskin is that it stays tighter than the deerskin drums I've made in the past. A wonderful Lakota friend in Oregon cuts the rawhide and makes the hexagonal "hoops". Everything is ready for you to just lace and personalize your drum.
Class time 5 hours, includes ritual purification of drums and shamanic meditation. Cost for all $125.00
Spirit Doll
A spirit doll made from deerskin, stuffed with raw wool, sage, sweetgrass and lavender. Decorated with beads, stones, feathers and other found objects.
