I want everyone that visits this site to understand that the information that you read here is based solely on what I have learned in my time of betta keeping.  I am not a professional, nor do I claim to be.  When I first started with this website, I was completely new to betta keeping.  I added information to the site as I learned it.  I researched long and hard before articles were written because as it happens, at the time I was researching the info, I was actually treating a sick betta. I simply shared here what I learned along the way.   I have not treated a betta for ALL of the illnesses mentioned on this site, but that does not mean that I did not research the information completely before putting the articles together. I have made phone calls to Jungle Labs, as well as Mardel Labs on medication info mentioned in many of my illness articles. I have had to “tweak” the information provided here as time has gone on as the learning never ends.  I do not claim this site to be the one stop know all betta care website.  The wonderful thing about the internet is that you have available right at your fingertips the ability to compare any given information, and I very much encourage research. 

At this time, I am very satisfied that the information that you do gather here will help you in caring for your betta.  I do not offer any information here that I have not used or would not use for my own bettas, successfully.  I have done my best to provide you information as I have learned, and continue to learn, that will help you provide your betta a long, happy and healthy life.

With all of the above said, the information that I have provided here is just a start. This is a community, and within this community there is a wealth of knowledge and experience to be shared and learned. I have learned much from many here and I know that I will continue to do so. I appreciate all of "The Betta Obsessed" members that make up this community.
