Hall One
A "shoe box" shaped hall with seating for around seventeen hundred people.

Hall Two
A flexible intimate auditorium of up to four hundred capacity seated or standing, which we believe to be the only ten-sided performing arts space in the world.

Northern Rock Foundation Hall
For rehearsal, performance and music participation.

Music Education Centre
A twenty-six room powerhouse for our focus on music education and community music, housing activities that support and expand our Learning and Participation programme throughout the ten thousand square miles of the North of England.

The Joan and Margaret Halbert Space
A high-tech music information and library service, called "ExploreMusic", run by Gateshead Council Libraries.

The Barber Room
A very special space for entertainment and events for up to three hundred people.

The Sage Gateshead is a spectacular building - the first designed by Lord Foster's practice for the performing arts.  To see behind the scenes and learn more about the building you can come on  a tour.
