The C.M.M.A Mission Statement
1. Provide National Leadership
- demonstrate and ensure that the Canadian Cannabis community is at the
forefront in several sectors of the existing technology, as well as
being a continuing essential component of a sustaining information
source for the future.
2. Serve as an Advocate
- represent the interests and capabilities of the Canadian cannabis
community at all levels of government, utilities, regulators and the
general public, and especially promote the adoption of an equitable
legislative, regulatory, policy and economic environment for the
implementation of cannabis.
3. Support the Canadian Industry
- assist Canadian cannabis industries to become thriving components of
the Canadian economy through the promotion of a levelized cannabis
marketplace and through facilitating research, development and
implementation of projects.
4. Form Strategic Alliances
- seek out and create alliances with other organizations to more
effectively pursue common goals.
5. Serve as a Focus for Information and Communications
- assist in collecting, assembling and disseminating relevant
information and in promoting discussion through publications, meetings,
and other forums for the benefit of the cannabis community and the
general public.
