Welcome to Cafe Critique!
The Café does not sponsor any critique groups, provide archives for members’ writing, or do critiques on-line. For purposes of protecting your publishing rights, please do not post your work on-line to public forums.
There are a number of private critique groups listed below whose members belong to the Café.
Click the name of the group you're interested in for a detailed description of the group and contact information. Don't be put off by a '0' in the Number of Current Openings column! Contact the moderator, and request placement on the group's waiting list.
Stone Soup was the first critique group founded at the Children's Book Writers Cafe. Stone Soup began as a Beginners critique group. In time, members evolved from raw beginners into working, published writers. Our hope is that the other Cafe based groups will follow their fine example.
Most of our groups include a mixed bunch of ability levels, with much to offer any writer on her/his way to publication.

For information on listing your member-run critique group on this page, or if you are a current moderator with changes for your listing, please e-mail Mary at Marysmuse@hotmail.com.
