| The Fix (Clearing your cache and more) If you are having difficulty reading the text on some of our pages because the background appears too dark AND you have already signed into your passport, or if you are having problems posting or seeing the pictures on the pages, or getting Java Script error messages, you may need to take the following steps: For Internet Explorer Users: Go offline. Right click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop. Click on Delete Temporary Internet Files. Put a checkmark where it asks, 'Delete offline content?' (Trust me, you will not miss these files!) Delete. Then, click on Clear History. This is something you should do at least once a week to keep your computer operating at its best. Go back online and return to our community. When signing into your passport, leave the 'remember me on this computer' UNchecked.
For Mac Users: For those Mac users having problems with Java Script: Download the free MRJ software (I believe it is Version 2.3) To Clear your Cache Mac/Netscape Go to your Edit Menu. Choose Preferences. Scroll all the way down until you see Cache. Click Cache. Click Clear Cache Now. Mac/AOL Go to My AOL Menu. Scroll to/click on Preferences. Click on the www (world wide web) icon. See Cache. Click Empty Now. |
