The original movie trucks have changed hands several times since the movie was released.  It took almost a year of internet searching to track down truck #1.

The cast and crew I contacted offered some leads, but mostly dead ends.  Internet references were vague, and occasionally, a thumbnail shot of the truck at a car show would surface.  One day, I noticed one of the photos contained a reference to the Halloween Horror Picture Show in St. Petersburg, FL. 

After finding the Picture Show web site, I contacted the promoter,
who gave me a solid lead.  He contacted the man who arranged the truck’s appearance at the show.  He, in turn, contacted the owner who contacted me.   The truck had just been put up for sale a few days earlier in the local paper.

Wasting no time, we struck a deal.  One month, and lots of $$$ later, The Creeper’s Truck finally arrived, by flatbed, in Maryland.  There she’ll wait until I can get a truck and trailer powerful enough to tow the beast to Monster Cons and cars shows on the East Coast.
