  Dragon species page 3

you may need to request some of these species or draw them yourself, most are unique to the haven and can be drawn for you here

Dragons are divided into 3 main types : Scaly (includes leather skined dragons), feathered and furry. from these 3 types many dragon speices have evolved. here are a few (you can find out what dragon is what type by looking at the WHITE colour writing...but on the bio page where it says dragon type - put down the species):

Drocune Dragon
DRAKELL'S SPECIES - ASK BEFORE USE!
Drocunes are not a native species to this planet. Drocunes come from a planet called Cunet. Drocunes have tattoos on their thighs, and sometimes they have tattoos on their arms as well. They are unwinged dragons, and they have manes from the back of their heads and down their necks. There is both twolegged and fourlegged Drocune dragons, the twolegged dragons has advantages like speed and agillity and the fourlegged dragons has advantages like physical strength and endurance. Drocunes can change to human looking creatures, their hair is normally the same colour as their mane, their hair is ALWAYS 2 colours, never more, never less.. They do not keep their tattoos in this human like shape. If you wish to play one, there is more detailed information found here:
Drocune Info

Dream Dragons or ''Dream Weaver' dragons
PLEASE ASK DARKONYXDREAMS TO BE ONE!
They are a Sub-species of Spirit dragons.Dream Dragons come in two types: Dream and Nightmare. Dream dragons are the good half of this species, often having relation to bringing another's hopes, dreams, and wishes to life. They also regulate the realm of dreams. They often have the nickname 'Dream Weavers.' Dreams have feathered wings, a mane, short fur, and large silver claws. They are always lightly coloured, often white with pastel highlights. Dreams have amiable and flexible personalities, though some are known to be jokesters. Nightmares, the other half of the species, regulate nightmares and bad dreams. They have a demonic, evil look to them, with jagged horns and claws, spikes all over their body that constantly drip blood. Not all Nightmares are evil though, because they give out omens and glimpses of the future to scare those who have them into changing their ways. Nightmares have bad attitudes and short fuses. Dream Dragon's litters only have two draglets, always having one Dream and one Nightmare. An oddity about this species is that siblings have one tattoo on their bodies somewhere that is done in their siblings fur colours.

Nolxic dragon
ROWAN'S SPECIES - ASK BEFORE USE!
Pronounced Nowl-sick. These dragons are a species of their own are completely native to The Haven. They exist nowhere else in the galaxy accept on TDH island. No one knows how long the species have existed here and still very little is known as they are one of the rarest species in The Dragons Haven. Their special power is invisibility and they are the best hunters in The Haven because of it, noone can here them coming or see them once they turn themselves invisible. Their colours are always gold, silver or blue though you can get ones with a mix of all three colours. No matter what colour they are, their eye colour is always the colour of milk. Nolxic dragons are very social and live in small pods, its very rare to find one on their own unless they’ve been kicked out. Their frames are very long and greyhound like and 'wyvern style' forms do occur. Instead of spikes or frills they have a shaggy mane that’s quite short yet goes all the way from their heads to their tails, their wings are also huge! No hybrids have ever occurred as they don’t seem to be compatable with other species. These dragons are the size of riding dragons.

Veritix Dragons
SHADE'S SPECIES - ASK BEFORE USE!
A primarilly all-female species of dragon in which there are pretty much all females and one male. The females can reproduce asexually, but can also have partners who are female or mate with the one male. They are usually coloured either white, purple, pink, yellow, or light blue. They have soft fur covering thier bodies, and have soft manes on thier necks and on the arms. On thier backs they sometimes have frills that run to the tip of thier tails. Thier wings are always feathered. Some of the Veritix dragons can sometimes change thier appearance to that of a human, but thier hair will remain the same in both dragon and human form, and they will have wings too - the rest of them look like normal humans. They almost always have some kind of jewelry on them that remains the same in dragon and human form. Thier intellegence varies from dragon to dragon.

Lykani dragons
WITTIE2M'S SPECIES - ASK BEFORE USE!
Lykani dragons (pronounced Lie-Can-Eye) came to the haven from another part of Xdantanner, dwelling mainly underground in the shadows. In appearance the males can be as tall as Black dragons and poses a line of ruby jewels running down the spine in a golden setting one on each vertebrae, While females can be as tall as a goddess dragon and always have a crest of ruby’s atop there head each set in silver, however in extremely rare cases the Jewels may be a different colour, each colour has a specific meaning and strangely the colours of the jewels of a dragonet do not have to be the same as the parents. Both male and female they are usually dark colours of the spectrum for example they can be dark red, dark blue or even black, there are very rare cases when there colourings are lighter however, both male and female have horns and are both quite slender making it easier to move around the tunnels where they dwell, both have wings and are able to travel at break neck speeds while in the air. both are four legged but able to grasp things in there front claws and even stand on two legs. They have the ability to evolve into stronger forms but it has not been seen in over 800,000 years. they have human forms but while in them retain there jewel spines (males) and crests (females) and some dragon features. Due to their secluded nature many find other species even other dragons untrustworthy. They are a recent arrival to the haven and have taken a liking to the Caves. There are six different types of jewels the dragon may posses each offering different abilities, Ruby are by far the most common and the rest have differing rarity, the rarest is the Purple Amethyst as only one dragon of this species exists at anyone time and is seen by the others as the species leader

Zorion Dragons
A rare species of dragon. Its origin is unknown, though they are native to Xdantanner, and you can recognise it easly by its design. Zorions always walk on four legs, and have three toes on each foot. They average around BD height and are always furry with feathered wings (Zorions don't come with either scales or leathered wings) and their bodies always have spots or stripes or some form of pattern on them. Body colours (including patterns and wings) are only ever four types of colours at the most. Black is the most common body colour, while the insides of their wings are almost always blue with white tips. Their horns always come in the shape of Deaths Scythe, males usually have much larger horns, while their claws are also in the shape of scythes. Zorion fur is very short and they normally have a crown of elegent spikes on their head or a mane which only goes to the bottom of the neck. The can come with spikes on their backs but females don't have any spikes other than on their head. Built for speed and agility with a cheetah/Greyhound shaped body. They don't hybridise with other species, they can only breed with other Zorions since hybrid Zorion dragonets are still born or die a few days later. the longest lived hybrid Zorion lasted 3 days. No other species can beat Zorions on agility for this reason they have massive wings.

Root Dragons
VEMARIEL_IMBELINDË'S SPECIES - ASK BEFORE USE!
Sub-species of unwinged dragon, Root dragons are unique in their retractable claws. They stand on the tips of their toes and walk four legged. Their front paws are like the prehistoric iguanadon. The teeth are specially developed to tear at the roots of strong trees. The front teeth are sharp for tearing and the back are for grinding. They have powerful jowls and front quarters. Roots dragons are muscled and carry little fat and are more slender than their cousins. They are social creatures and live in large communities underground. They burrow down into the earth under forests and will come up during the night to feed on small game or graze in social gatherings. Root Dragons usually mate for life and have as many as 4 eggs, which the community looks after. As they grow older their scales hardened and grow layers of new scales. Root Dragons lack body spikes, the only spikes they develop are on the jaw line. Both genders have one claw on each front paw. Males are dark brown with light brown speckles. They develop curled ram-like horns and a small stub of a horn on the nose usually used for shoveling out tunnels. Females are an earthy brown with lighter brown speckles on the shoulders and flanks. They develop no horns only the spikes along the jaw, which for females, ends when the cheek does (picture displayed is a female). Root Dragons are usually calm and friendly but extremely protective of their tunnels and young. The root dragons eat the roots of trees only in the winters when their tunnels are blocked for a food source. Since they eat the roots of trees Root dragons are commonly in conflict with Plant dragons. Root dragons have two glands in the back of the back of their mouth that contains a plant toxin to break down cellulose. When threatened the glands release the toxins in a pressurized spray to stun the opponent or hurt plant-like foes
