Preparing The Final Call
2 years ago, while living in Hillsboro, KS I was motivated through the preaching of God's Word to communicate the message of the gospel through a specific ministry. After praying, I have decided that my special interest in ministry relates to my love of eschatology. As such, I believe that my passion to take part of Scripture and own up to it (that is, make it my passion) by really diving into God's word relating to the end-times. As such, my passion was to promote God's Word, the gospel, through the teaching of the theological area of Eschatology (study of the End-times). As such, I wanted to create a resource that would store information gathered over the years for the purpose of studying eschatology. Also, I wanted others to be included in this study so that they would come to understand and appreciate the study of prophecy and the end times since there isn't alot of this being taught in the church today. Thus, as I thought about the medium in which this was going to take place, I used what I had to start sharing my ministry and passion with the world. Thus, "The Final Call" was birthed and created on the MSN group on April 28th, 2006 in the late hours of the night. The focus: to share my passion of eschatology and Bible prophecy with other Christians, to create an online resource center that contains the studies of what I"ve learned throuhgout the years and will learn throughout my lifetime as well as giving others an opportunity to share what they know and ask questions, and to teach those new to eschatology and those who are unfamiliar with the study of the Tribulation and end time events about all that the Bible has to say about the upcoming seven-year tribulation. Initially, this wasn't designed to be a group, per say, but only a resource strictly for reference and forums. But, it has been a great thing to be a group so that others can come and fellowship and dialogue about the Bible, especially eschatology and gives me and others the opportunity to spread Biblical teachings centered around all areas of scripture. The name, "The Final Call" is based on the premise of Revelation 20:10-13 -- "Then he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy contained in this book, because the time is near. The evildoer must continue to do evil, and the one who is morally filthy must continue to be filthy. The one who is righteous must continue to act righteously, and the one who is holy must continue to be holy.”(Look! I am coming soon, and my reward is with me to pay each one according to what he has done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end!)." Together with the conjunction of 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 -- "The arrival of the lawless one will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracles and signs and false wonders, and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved. Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. And so all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned." -- one gains the understanding that Jesus is coming back soon to give all according to what they have done and that to those that haven't accepted the truth will be given over to a strong delusion sent by God via the Antichrist. The Scripture, Rev 3:10 gives the punch line to why this is a final call for those living today, prior to the rapture: "Because you have kept my admonition to endure steadfastly, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth." So, for those who don't know Christ, this may be your final call to salvation before the Antichrist comes and God sends you a strong delusion to believe the lie since you refused the truth. The Final Call is to salvation in Jesus Christ, who will forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood shed on calvary's cross, give you a white robe in which only are given to the righteous, and will give you a new nature that will please God, which is all the work of Jesus Christ Himself imputed onto you, while Jesus takes your old nature and life and puts that on the cross to be crucified forever! (Romans 6, Epheasians 1, Colossians 1). Nothing you do will save you except faith in Jesus Christ! Your responsibility: Repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ, being baptized, born again, by the Holy Spirit into His body. This is the promise given to you and to your descendants that you call come to Jesus for salvation (John 3; Acts 2:37-41; 2 Pet 3:9). So, again, as you visit us, HEED THE WARNING, ANSWER THE CALL! This may be your last opportunity! Jesus is returning to get His church and then afterwards the Day of the Lord will come quickly and suddenly like a thief in the night! Do not wait to get your life together or to seek a sign from God (the only sign you will receive is the message of the Gospel: Jesus Christ death, burial, resurrection, ascension and His church full of changed sinners who live righteously before God and are witnesses to His glory), or wait until you are ready. Expanding the Final Call
Also, we now have a sister site located on Yahoo groups as well as facebook (which is underused but still present) if anyone is interested. A search on either should yield you to the sites themselves. Finally, the Final Call is in the process of becoming an independant site all by itself in a bigger and better way that will link directly to all sites as well as to my personal site. Time and plans are currently in the evalution process and when this will occur is unknown, but is expecting to make an early fall, end of summer of 2008 debut, but all is not final and pending. More to come later on this! Ideas and suggestions are welcomed by staff and members!
