Using a Bayonet with a 16" Carbine Barrel

You can put a bayonet on a 16'barrel. All you need is a bicycle 27' (fits x 1 1/8 & 1 ¼) Bell universal inner tube from wallmart. Cut a 1' piece of tube and slip it over the flash hider on the barrel. The rubber tube will protect the barrel and cushion the bayonet when the bayonet is attached and all you have to do to make it tighter is role the back of the tubing over and dubbed it and the bayonet is tight on the barrel. The tubing can be removed essay and is not permanent or will leave marks on the barrel. - Submitted by Fred.
