Georgia Sietz has been asked by some of our Non-English speaking Tatters to make up a page for some of the shapes in Tatting and the terms used for them. These are a few of the Shapes, I have been able to contribute to the Class. We will be working in class on Polygon Shapes. Polygon's are Shapes that have sides that have all straight, equal lines. There is also irregular Polygon Shapes, which are still straight, equal lines, but are at different angles.  In many of the examples you will see the shape traced around each Tatted Piece to show the Polygon shape, such as the square, triangle and the diamond.
