How to Add a Border to a Posting.

You should already have a reply open for your message.

You will see a little box that looks like a calendar.  Click on the box.

You should have a seperate box open like the one below.

Change the Rows and Columns numbers to 1 each.

Click on Cell Padding and Cell Spacing.

I always like to put an odd number here.  It's your choice, to change the number or not.  However, it does give a more finished appearance to your posting to add a little padding and spacing to your message.

Click on the Border Button.  You will want to change this number.  I like to make this an odd number too.  I have tendancy to make them either 5, 7, 11, 13, 15, 17.  LOL!  Actually the size depends a lot on if the graphic I decide to add is large or small and how I wish to set it off.

Click on a color you like.  You will probably choose to pick a dark color.  If you take your mouse and run it over the colors they will show up in the little white box in the middle of the screen.  Once you have decided on the color, just left click and the number will show up in the Border Color box.

Now click on the Background Button.  You will be posting your words or a picture on this so I usually pick a light color.  Something that compliments the Border color.  Once you have decided click on the button Insert Table.

You will get something similar to the box above.  I like to do a little bit of finish work now.  I click on the box so I get small squares all around it.  Then I click on the centering lines at the top of the working bar.

Then post your message or add your picture.  Once you are done, click the button Send Message.

How to Add a Colorful Background to a Posting.

This is one part I like to have two windows open.  I like to choose the background I am going to use in one window and the other window holds my reply frame.  Follow the above directions for adding a border all the way up to background.

In your other window open up a background album and choose a background you like.  Right click on the background.

Run your mouse down to where it says Properties and click on that left click on that.

You will get a window similar to the one below.

Put your mouse over the area that says http: and right click.  Mouse down to Select All.  Click.

It should look like the picture below.

Click copy.

You can close the window and go back to the window you were adding the background to.  Put your mouse in the line that says Background Image URL:  Press CTRL and V.  The window should look similar to the one below.  Now click Insert Table.  Your done, well except for putting in what picture or what you wish to type.  Good luck.
