Sunshine Scrappers
Our History:
Our club was founded in June of 2001.
I (Stacey) got the idea off of the CKMB (www.creatingkeepsakes.com). A lady I was chatting with was starting her own group in CA. We started out with 4 people cropping at my house. The next crop we added 10 more new faces and Jennifer Mason came up with a website for the club. The club has evolved from meeting at my house, to the Oviedo library and now to St. Richard's Episcopal Church
5151 Lake Howell Rd.
Winter Park 32792
St. Richard's has been our home for a few yrs. now. It's been the perfect place for us. The kitchen, the tables, the space you can't beat it. Thank you St. Richard's!
We are NOT church related. Over the last 7 years the club has grown. We've grown into one big family. We've also added a yearly retreat into the mix. The retreat is our biggest event of the year. The Christmas crop holds a close second.
The best thing about the club is everyone contributes and everyone goes home with a new idea, or even knowing they made a new friend. You'll also leave with a list of scrapbook supplies you'll want to buy for the next crop. HA! I've really enjoyed meeting everyone and hope to continue adding new members. Remember YOU make the club!
Our Motto:
Making FRIENDS, while making MEMORIES!
Why a website?
This website not only would it help us spread the word on the lastest information on the upcoming crops but communicate throughout the month. If you can't make it to every crop there's a place to still be apart of all the good stuff...sales, newest products, sales (did I say sales?)
Our rules:
We have two rules for the club:
1) No consultants and LSS Owners can sell at crops. Consultants & LSS Owners are more than welcome to share their catalogs, business cards, and ideas but exchanging of money is not permitted. We have a list of consultants for you on this site. Feel free to get in touch with our consultants privately. All consultants & LSS Owners are welcome. **If you ONLY want to promote your business at a SS crop or on our website you have found the wrong group. Please respect our members.
2) No children under the age of 18 yrs. A lot of us are SAHM's who need to get out of the house once a month..LOL. It's Mom's time to talk with ADULTS. We have no place to house the children nor a babysitter to pay.
Also I would ask you to please respect other members feelings, comments, ideas, and LO's if you can not do so I'll have to ask you to leave
Members:
Everyone is welcome whether you can come to our crops or just like to chat with us. We meet the second sat. of every month. We have people from Oviedo, Winter Park, Orlando, Kissimmee, Deltona, Metrowest, Apopka...all surrounding areas.
Spread the word, all are WELCOME!
Welcome and I hope you enjoy us as much as I've enjoyed all of you!
See ya at the next crop,

August Crop 2002 I was the hostess and the theme was BACK TO SCHOOL. Everyone was asked to bring in an old school or baby photo of themselves & we had a contest to see who could guess the most correctly.
