The Sydney Shadows Club was formed in April 2003 and caters to those who have an interest in playing or just listening to guitar instrumental music.
While those with a mutual appreciation of THE SHADOWS founded the club, we warmly welcome those with an interest in any type of instrumental guitar music.
Our current membership boasts non-professional through to currently gigging musicians, from absolutely all age groups. We particularly invite drummers and bass players, along with those who were part of the instrumental boom of the 60’s and may have long since downed tools but would now like to re kindle the flame.
The club meets on Sunday afternoons (2.00pm - 6.00pm) once a month in the auditorium of The Yagoona Greyhound Social Club. Please refer to our meeting dates page for the type of meeting. Regardless of the type of meeting all guests are welcome.
The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed and an ideal forum for those with a passion for the era of the guitar instrumental.
