Asha'man means 'Guardian' in the Old Tongue.  They are men who weild the One Power.  Their female counterparts are the Aes Sedai which means 'Servent to all' in the Old Tongue.

The Asha'man are divided up into Squads much as the Aes Sedai are with their Ajahs.  The Squads are dedicated to a specific function. 

 Now that you are an Asha'man, be sure to continue posting.  Teach classes, recruit for your Squad, travel the world, police the city, set up your Quarters however you like, etc.

Once an Asha'man gets raised he gains the Dragon Pin.
