Want airbag suspension in the front of your MK1 Cortina?

 

Selling a fair bit of gear that'll get you started. 2 x Boss strut bags, with upper seal plates, escort strut inserts, modified MK2 Escort control arms (with fully rebuilt balljoints, brand new balljoint rubbers and all new nolathane bushes inner and outer). Also spherical bearing strut tops from eurospeed drilled to suit MK1 Cortina, conversion collars for the bearings. Also includes cut down strut bodies to suit shorter Escort strut inserts (will need sleeving though). Includes 20mm Escort swaybar, and brand new swaybar bushes to suit. Also includes adapters to fit standard MK1 steering arms to Escort control arms.

 

To finish the job you'll need to sleeve the struts where they've been cut to suit escort strut inserts. Also need to fabricate new crossmember to suit Escort Control arms. Will throw in brand new steering rack bushes and clamps if you wish, so you can bolt up a rack to the new crossmember. I'm not sure, though I suspect the swaybar may be about 1 inch too narrow to bolt straight in but have heard of people getting them reshaped slightly to fin MK2 Cortina so may be the solution in this case too.

 

Other than that it's just a matter of fitting an airline to the bottom seal plate of the strut and putting a tank and compressor in the boot. Compatible with rack and pinion with the addition of green tie rod ends OR standard steering box. EVERYTHING IS NEW!!!

 

Not everyone's thing but selling due to wanting to run a double A-Arm setup in the front to fit bigger wheels.
