Suzi's Fotopic Gallery - A Gallery of photographs that I have put together including Collections of Cornwall, National Trust Properties, The English Countryside and quite a few more. Thanks to Wee Drew for suggesting The Fotopic Albums. It's worth a look just to see what a Fotopic Album could do for you. Easy to use and 250 megs of space, free with no catches - there's a link to the Fotopic main site at the bottom of the Gallery.

7 Day Shop - Although this company is based in Guernsey I can vouch for the brilliant service they provide (certainly to mainland UK anyway) and the unbelievable prices too. They sell photography and video supplies and digital camera supplies which include flash cards and camera batteries. I bought a 64mb Compact Flash card for £17.85 which is pounds cheaper than anywhere else, even on the internet.

Cornwall by Cornishlight - Although primarily a Tourist Information site, this website has fabulous pictures of all over Cornwall. Their description "Tourist Information with nice pictures" does not do the site justice at all. The only irritation for me is the annoying copyright logo across the pictures but, of course, the owners have their own reasons for this. If you haven't been to Cornwall before or, if you have and love everything there is to offer, you can now experience Cornwall from your own living room (or wherever your computer is in your house!)
Cornwall Cam - Rather than being a live webcam, this website is a page full of lovely photographs of Cornwall updated every day (there are the odd exceptions where you get Dorset etc., when the webmaster and photographer, Charles Winpenny is away for a couple of days). This is a truly addictive site and one that I look at every day. All the pictures are taken with a Nikon Coolpix 990 and are lovely and clear and, if you enjoy the scenery of Cornwall as much as I do, you will really appreciate this website and the stunning photos that appear on it every day. The site also doubles up as a daily weather report from Cornwall so, if you want to know what high pressure really looks like, take a long look at this brilliant website.

Digital Camera Resource Page - Although this is an American site (nothing wrong with that simply saying that all the products are quoted in dollars) don't be put off by using this website as it is a fantastic place to get information about digital cameras even if you will need to get an idea of price elsewhere (dependant on your country). If you don't know your chromatic aberrations from your white balance then you will soon understand after looking at the many reviews and picture galleries of photographs taken using each camera. Every camera is looked at in depth and there are pictures of each camera from every available angle and explanations of where all the controls are and all the functions available on each camera. The reviews are very impartial and tell you the good points and bad points and often show picture examples of such points. If you want a digital camera that is going to last you some time and is going to give you excellent quality pictures it is worth taking your time to read through the reviews on here of any cameras you have shortlisted. It could just save you from making a very expensive mistake!

Digital Camera Magazine - Good online magazine link. Has loads of useful articles.
Formby Photographic Group - A very well put together photographic site for the amateur photographer.
The Francis Frith Collection - On this website you can search through thousands of photos of British Towns and villages taken in various years - the years available are displayed as your search results. Simply click on the link that interests you to bring up a brilliant picture of what a place looked like that year. There are some amazing photographs on here. The site is quite vast with a photo library made up of many photo galleries. If you are looking for some inspiration or just enjoy looking at great photographs then this website could have you engrossed for a good hour or two!
The Get Out Guide - I thought this website might make a useful link for those of you that occasionally need inspiration on where to go to take your pictures. There is information on all manner of places to go for a day out including stunning scenery, theme parks, stateley homes, gardens, you name it, it's all on here. The website is easy to use and has clear pictures with drop down menu boxes underneath so you can select exactly what you want to look at. The area covered by this site is only the North West of England so it is useful to those living here and it might encourage people from further afield to come up and visit us!
Images of Britain - A pictorial archive of the cities, towns and villages of the UK. You can even submit your own pictures if you wish. Not all counties have pictures yet so if you have any photographs for the counties without, send them in. Check out each section, and you will be surprised at just how many places are included on this site already. I was very pleased to see some photographs from my neck of the woods at Saddleworth. You might even find some pictures of your area on there. The photographs are of varying quality but interesting all the same.

I.C.I. Olmec Photo Paper - This paper is the very best paper I have ever used, it is available from MX2 and 50 sheets is about £20 postage paid, but it really does look and feel like photopaper. I have been using it for over three years and the big plus is that ICI have their own web site which has a technical advise link. I have e-mailed them for advise in the past and actually spoke to a REAL technical person (not an answerphone) who really tried to sort my problem and gave some excellent advise about compatible inks and their papers.I can't recommend it highly enough.
MX2 Organisation - Camera Food - This is a great website if you need consumables for your digital camera or you need films etc., for your SLR camera. As the website says, camera food, literally! The prices are really competitive but I can't comment on what sort of service this company offers as I haven't tried them yet as I have only just found the link. I will update this text when I have made a purchase so you'll know whether they are good, bad or indifferent.
The National Museum of Photography, Film and Television - Great link to a great site, with loads of information and stuff to do.
Mike Page Aerial Photography - If you like Norfolk and the Broads and also aerial photography then you will definitely enjoy this website. Obviously, as the images are pretty large, some of them do take a while to load but, as you will know, it is often worth the wait to see photographs and especially ones of this quality. If you have ever been to Norfolk then you will know what a beautiful mainly rural county it is. You can see this from the aerial and on-aerial photographs on this website. The photographer also seems to update the site regularly adding new photographs. This is one to bookmark.
Paperworld - Good Cheap photo quality papers, and compatible inks, they have stands at computer fairs where you can save the cost of postage, or order on-line8A.M to Midnight 7Days a week on 01530-264138.The 220Gsm photo gloss instant dry really does dry instantly certainly at 2880dpi.

The Photography Cafe -
Scilly Webcam - This website is great from the point of view that it is not really a webcam. No fuzzy images here! This website, named Scilly Webcam, is a page updated every day with photographs from the Isles of Scilly. There are generally only a couple of photographs to look at but they are always very interesting, even more so during winter when we are up to our ankles in snow in the UK mainland but the Isles of Scilly is sunny and mild as ever. There are links to other Scilly related websites including photographic sites. Make sure you click the panorama link. Although it takes a while to load up it is well worth it!
The South West Coastal Path Website - I have never managed to walk very much of the South West Coastal Path for one reason and another (mainly lack of time etc) but, now that I have found this website, I feel like I have walked it all. There are literally hundreds of photographs of all round this path and, if like me you are pushed for time on holidays to Cornwall, you can use this website to pick out the places that appeal to you most so you can visit and take photographs. I find that the website is very helpful during the darkest depths of winter when there is nothing to do and brings a bit of sunshine to your day.
Get Mapping Aerial Photography of the UK - You might wonder why I have included a mapping link on here but it is relevant to photography as this site contains aerial images of the whole of the UK photographed during the year 2000. As the site puts it "A snapshot of the UK in the Millenium". Type in the postcode of your house or a postcode of somewhere you have stayed on holiday perhaps and a list will appear and you pick out the correct property from the list and a small aerial photo will appear! The images are very small though, you have been warned! You will need to use your Magnifier from Windows Accessibility (found in Accessories). You can also buy aerial photographs which would make great presents for people. You can see a sample of the quality of such images on the site (they are a lot better than the images they allow you to view). Although the images to view aren't a great size I still find this site quite addictive at times.
