The Signs manual is to be continuously revised

DfT circular 02/2003 states that the Road Signs Manual is to be continously revised.  This is an important innovation and a big step forward and should allow discussions between the Department and informed members of the public to have a real immediacy.  With luck the Department will be more pro-active in trying to improve our signs.

Here is what the circular says :-

"10. It is intended that the TSRGD 2002 should be amended regularly to keep them up to date. Further revisions are likely to be made when the results of current research, particularly on pavement parking and zonal signing of waiting restrictions, are available."
