A short bio of some of our members

David Bauer

I attend the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where I am studying music under Dr. Robert Kase.  I am a freshman and I love to play the trumpet.

Kenny Smith

Kenny Smith has played trumpet since fourth grade.  He studied with Gerald Risden for four years in high school, and with Joe Foley and Terry Everson at Boston University's Tanglewood Institute.  He participated there in masterclasses with Roger Voisin and George Vosburgh (Pittsburgh SO).  He studies with Wayne Trager when at home in New Jersey.  At the New England Conservatory he is a sophomore with Peter Chapman (Boston SO).  He will be performing at Carnegie hall for the first time October 5th.
