Trisomy 20q

T20q is the description given to cells in which there are three copies of the long (q) arm of chromosome 20.

This can occur in many forms.

Most typically as the result of an unbalanced reciprocal translocation involving part or all of 20q.

It can also occur, more rarely, as the result of an addition or insertion involving part or all of 20q.
