Shorted Out by 69_fantasy
Sally light circuit is dead.
For 13 years she lightened my room,
Played my music, and let me watch T.V.,
But 1 night her overload was unbearable.
The computer was on, the T.V., the stereo,
And all the lights.
And on top of that the bed beat against her plug.
All that stress shorted her out Thursday evening
At exactly 10:33 P.M.
Sally is survived by her fellow light circuits
Around the house
And the computer, T.V., stereo, and lights
She loved so much.
Funeral arrangements will be held
A few weeks from now
Where she will be replaced
By the electric company.
All who knew her are welcome!
Nonsense Poem Write a poem using your own words. For example you can make up words that don't exist or combine words together, but make sure that in a way the poem makes sense.
Example
Boulderdash by 69_fantasy
I scream the dreams of Boulderdash
Where the goodish go
I hopes to go to this perflash
Full of unimaginables wonderins of rugold
A perfectious squarish home
With four white pickences
One for eaches ends is shown
And no feels of senses
Muches loft behind
But muches gained
To those abling to find
And to those Unfained
A feared not perflash
Of whos who loft their treds
For untouchabling mass
Totem awake tothers dead
I scream the dreams of Boulderdash
Where eterniality lives
Hopes for entrance ofuch perflash
Where no prioritize gives
Confession Poem Make a confession through a poem. It should consist of two stanzas, preferably 8 lines each.
Example
Confession by 69_fantasy
I confess, I'm not so innocent.
I'm ditching church with my friends.
Ha, ha Mom, I lied.
Now we're meeting 3 boys.
Oh no, I've been caught by you Mom
And what; The church is kicking me out for a year.
Oh yeah, well now I'm steeling a shirt from the mall,
Tearing off its tag,Throwing it in a bag.And getting away!
Mom, it wasn't my fault
For the shirt I stole.
The store had no security,
So they're to blame.
I suddenly feel nautious.
Guess I won't have to go to school today.
It's a real shame,
I really wanted to take that test today.
Diomonte Diamante Poem
A diomonte is a form of poetry. First you would pick two contrasting words and put one word on the top and the opposite word on the bottom. For example I'll choose Love and Lust. For each word you would choose two adjectives, 3 ing words, two nouns. This is what I came up with. Post ur own too on the diomonte message board.
Love
Beautiful, Sweet
Caring, Sharing, Feeling
Music, Hearts--Naughtiness, Needs
Fantasizing, Yearning, Satisfying
Desirable, Pleasurable
Lust
More to come, check back often...
