"There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Yahudim: The same came to Yahshua by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from Elohiym: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except Elohiym be with him. Yahshua answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of YHWH. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Yahshua answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of YHWH. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?(St. John 3:1-9)
'And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.' (Mark 16: 15,16)
"Then Kepha said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Yahshua Ha Mashiach for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2: 38)
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of Elohiym which liveth and abideth for ever. (I Peter 1:23)
Whosoever is born of Elohiym doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of Elohiym.(I John 3:9)
BORN OF THE SPIRIT NOT FLESH
The above scrips show us that inorder for ones to enter the Kingdom of Yah, they must be born of the Spirit. The physical cannot enter the Kingdom of Yah, only the spiritual can! When ones get baptized in water it is a symbol of the Spirit of Yah coming into them. Rastafarians should be born again as Israelites of the Most High. Yahshua Ha Mashiach was baptized by His own cousin, Yahchanan(John) , as an example for us all. The Spirit of Yah then came on Yahshua and He became the Messiah! He also preached about Baptism, why did He? Because He knew baptism is necessary in entering the Kingdom of Yah, there is no other way. The Water indeed represents the Spirit!
I know that there are ones who feel that Baptism is no longer important, since Yahshua was baptised for us. But is this thought according to the Holy Bible? Certainly not! Because even Yahshua's twelve disciples baptised lost souls in water as He instructed them to do, & they received the Holy Spirit! Even Tafari Makonnen was chrisened with the name, Haile Selassie. His Imperial Majesty also taught about this baptismal importance, so let us follow this example of the Emperor. Baptism doesn't refer to water alone though, because the Holy Spirit is the Key in being truly Born Again. On the Resurrection Day, our bodies will be spiritually recreated by Yahwah El Shadday!
BORN AGAIN WAYS
The true meaning of Born Again, can be obtained in many different ways. You must first repent & accept Yahshua as Ha Mashiach(Repentance & Salvation)., by circumcising your hearts unto Yah. " But he is a Yahudi, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of Yah."(Romans 2:29) Next, you should be submerged in water(Signifying the Holy Spirit). Water's significance here, is that it purifies the soul, & creates a newer lifestyle for the individual. It is a necessary spiritual cleansing of the body, soul, and mind with water! Then comes the Baptism of the Holy Spirit's Fire in us, after being immerged in water! The Spirit has possessed your body now! You are now ready to be born again with Yah, sinless and holy! The Resurrection & Israel's Regeneration, is the precise meaning of being born of Yah! " Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; (Titus 3: 5)
INCORRUPTIBLE BEINGS OF YAH
Many assume that it's just a mindly conversion, water, or even the Holy Spirit's Fire on us. Well to me it is a very much deeper thought! We have to be Born Again in the Spirit of YAH! It is the Spirit that will replenish & make us new persons. We will be incorruptible as the Scriptures teaches us, but the fact remains that all of us are sinners. Christians accept water & fire baptism. Well this is really just a start for ones, if they intend to be Born Again. How can anyone be born again & live in corruption? I accepted this thought before also, but now after really reading the Bible, no one is truly Born Again, only when the Resurrection occurs! I was reasoning with some Christians about this statement, but they couldn't visualize what I was showing them, so I left them alone. Realistically, human beings are not Born Again with YHWH, not yet! There are no individuals that are spiritually reborn with Yah, this will only happen until the Resurrection Day!!
THE HOLY SPIRIT OF YHWH
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:(Joel 2:28)
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (St.Matthew 28: 19,20)
This is the commission of Yahshua Ha Mashiach for His people! Therefore, Baptism is necessary for us. With a true function of the heart, we can be born again with Yah! 'Born again" refers to a spiritual awakening, an anointing by the Holy Spirit, a recognition of Universal Continuity through the Lord. Discipline is necessary to maintain the practice of the moral principles and beliefs of the 'Born Again' believer. Discipline and patience are part of the whole character of the disciple. When desire for uprightness and the love of good clean feelings and thoughts are utmost, we connect directly and receive the Divine Love of God. Reading the Bible 'One Chapter a Day' will create change and strengthen your faith.
A good explanation given here, but what ones fail to realise is that Baptism is not just spiritual, but through immersion as well. Infact, being baptised is not a Christian ritual like ones believe, but a Hebrew Israelite sacrament first of all. For the Bible shows us that when Israel enters New Jerusalem, they shall be baptised, so how could this ignored? Our bodies, souls, & mind will be cleansed with water, & made pure unto YAH. We will be spiritually transformed by Yah! Remember that flesh cannot enter the Kingdom, only the spirit can, like Yahshua taught us!
Yahshua declared this message so let us listen to Him! Let us not forsake the custom of Baptism. Baptism by water must be practiced like John the Baptist & the Twelve. " For as many of you as have been baptized into Yahshua have put on Mashiach. " (Galations 3: 17) We should be baptised in the name of Yahshua Ha Mashiach! Of course this is my view not refuting anyone's perspective if they don't see immersion but a spiritual one. Read the Holy Scriptures for yourself to see the true meaning of being Born Again. (Bro.
