Who was this man, and why is He so important in Israyl? To overstand who He is, we would have to read from the Bible. "And Yahwah remembered Raqhel, and Yahwah hearkened to her, and opened her womb. And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, Yah hath taken away my reproach: And she called his name Yahseph; and said, Yahwah shall add to me another son.(Bereshiyt-Genesis 30: 22-24) JOSEPH'S BLESSINGS Yahseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty One of Ya'aqob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Yisrayl:) Even by the Strength of thy father, who shall help thee; and by Yl Shaddai, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb: The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Yowceph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren. (Bereshiyt 49:22-26) And of Yahseph he said, blessed of Yahwah be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath, And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Yahseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephrayim, and they are the thousands of Manasheh. (Debariym-Deuteronomy 33: 13-17) Yahseph : Adding, whom Yahwah will add to, Yahwah shall increase, he shall increase progressively, from perfection unto perfection. WHO WAS JOSEPH? Yahseph was the second youngest and favorite son of Ya'aqob and Raqhel, Binyamiyn was the youngest one. He received from his father (Yisrayl) a coat of many colours. What is this colorful coat's significance? Could it have symbolized the different colors of the rainbow which was a covenant from Yah? Only Yahwah knows really. But one thing for certain is that they were many colours consisting of this robe which Jacob gave Joseph. Yahseph was a visionary also. He once had dreams of His brothers showing obescience to Him along with the moon and the stars. Read Genesis 37 as proof. Because of this, his brothers hated him. They threw him into a pit and sold him into Mizraim as a slave. What a horrible thing to do, you might say, but it was part of prophecy! In Mitsrayim(Egypt), he served Potiphar, his master. Potiphar's wife liked Joseph but he remained loyal. However, this jezebel lied on him and he was incarcerated. In prison, He interpreted the Baker & the Cook's dreams. He even interpreted Pharoah's dream of seven years of plenty/seven years of famine. Because of this Pharoah took him out of prison & made him Viceroy of Mitsrayim. Prophecy was fulfilled when His brothers came down to Mitsrayim and did exactly what He told them they would do, they honored him as a ruler. One thing to know is that in the Scriptures, it says that His brothers didn't recognize Him, why was that? I'll tell you why it was mostly because Yahseph became darker (through the Edenic sun) than his Hebrew family. The Hebrews('Ibriy) were dark(Shemitic) but he became much darker than them. In Mitsrayim, these great people were very dark(Chamitic), & the Hieroglyphics has proof of this already. " And Yahseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him. "(Genesis 42) This pic doesn't show us the real Yahseph, because as an ancient Egyptian, he was much darker than this. Here is a good pic of how Joseph would really look like. Yahseph was a Shemite, much darker than this picture! Although some are afraid to admit the truth, let it be told now! Just look at the lips and high cheek bones on this statue of Joseph for yourself! Yahseph was not Yephethic, but classified as a Hamite, because of his dark complexion. Isn't it also realistic to see that even Sha'ul(Paul) was called a Mitsrayim(Egyptian) in the Book of Acts? Or how about his student, Shimon(Simon), referred by a Greek term, Niger? This Greek word means: Black, & presently, Niger is an African country, populated by Black people. Now if they were both labeled as regular Africans, then they had to been dark skinned people. See these ancient Egyptian statues for yourself. Do you not see Black features? Yes! Yahseph married a Mitsrayim princess named Asenath. She was the daughter of the ancient Egyptian priest, Potipherah of On. Yahseph and Asenath conceived two sons, Ephrayim & Manasheh. It wasn't too long before Joseph revealed himself to his brothers and his father. They all wept when they saw him, and he invited them to come to Egypt to live. Before Israyl passed on, he blessed the youngest son Ephraim, and then the firstborn, Manasseh. (Genesis 48:13-20). Joseph didn't overstand why His father was doing this, and forbade it, but Israel told him it is prophecy. He said," I know it well my son." Before Yahseph died, He wanted the children of Yisrayl to take His bones out of Mitsrayim, into the Land of Kan'aan, and bury them there. After Moses came and took the Israelites out of Egypt, they did carry Joseph's bones with them. It has been said that Joseph's statue can be found in modern day Egypt. Some have attributed him to Khufu of Kuwsh. But King Khufu who built the Three Pyramids of Giza, was a Kuwshite(Ethiopian). Even though he was a Hebrew Israylite, Yahseph would be described as a Kuwshite too. Joseph is very important in the Nation of Israel! YHWH bless father Joseph and all Josephites!! Blessed be Abba YAHWAH!! Check the links below.
