Calling RasTafari
The Dread King and His Twelve Apostles!!
Greetings in the name of Yahshua Ha Mashiyach, King of kings, Lord of lords, Conquering Lion of Judah, & true Light of this world! One of the questions that ones have asked is why do some Rastafarians say Jah(Yah) RasTafari? They comment," Since they don't see Haile Selassie as the Most High or the returned Messiah, then why do they say Rastafari also? Doesn't that sound like they are glorifying Haile Selassie still?" Well, when some Rastafarians say this name, they feel they are praising the Most High. The Father's name is YHWH or Yahwah & RasTafari signifies who the Father is to them, Head Creator. Ras(Rosh) means Head and Tafari means The One who is Feared(in the Amharic tongue). Who is really feared among all nations? Yahwah the Most High. His Imperial Majesty only came to represent the Most High, not himself. I call on the name of YAHWAH when I pray not Ras Tafari.
Some Rastafarians do try not to say Jah Ras Tafari among other Rastafarians, because they might feel they worship the Emperor like they do. The way they preferably use RasTafari, is seen to be distinctive from other Rastafarians. They use Jah RasTafari not Jah Ras Tafari or Rastafari like others do. You can still hail the Emperor in a different manner from worshipping Him as Yahwah. But should always glorify the True and Living Mighty One. Yahwah(The Self Existing One who reveals Himself) is indeed true Creator and feared among nations but his name is not RasTafari it is YHWH. Yahwah gave us life so we can live, so we must hail Him! Yahwah gave us strength to carry on, so we must praise Him!
THE DREADFUL NAME
"I am a great King, saith Ha Ylyon(the Most High), and my Shem(name- YHWH) is dreadful among the heathen. (Malakiy-Malachi 1: 14) Yahwah is the great King above all kings and when I call His name, it is dreadful among the heathen. This scripture pertains to the name, Yahwah or Jah as he is known by most Rastafarians, that the wicked constantly refuses to hear. In the Islands, Rastafarians were killed and had their crowning glory(locks) trimmed off just because they chanted this name, Jah, which was derived from YHWH. They didn't like to hear this name, because the heathen felt it was some kind of devilish name, but Rastas kept on shouting it. First of all, how can Yahwah be a satanic name, when it is written in the very Bible and is the ancient Hebraic name for the Creator? These heathens couldn't stop Rastafarians from praising the Most High as YAHWAH or Jah, no God bizniss ya. His name, YHWH is terrible and dreadful among the heathen!
WHY SEH SELASSIE I?
Even when ones say Selassie I, they feel they are referring to the Creator, who the Emperor followed and worshipped. Of course I am aware that certain Rastafarians shout Selassie's name & are actually praising H.I.M. Some greet ones in the name of Yahshua who revealed Himself in H.I.M. But also salute their fellow Rastafarians by saying," Selassie I, His Majesty, Ras Tafari, or Haile I. His Imperial Majesty was not the only monarch known as Selassie. His great grandfather, King Sahle was named Selassie and many other Ethiopian rulers. Obviously they were representing the Most High not themselves. Ras Tafari is to be exalted as King of Israel and King of Zion, no one can't take that divine status from Him. Because it was Yahwah who anointed and chose Him to gather the Nation of Israel, and defend the Hebrew Messianic Faith!
Ones also say Selassie I referring to the Emperor by venerating H.I.M. However, prayer is different for some when they chant Selassie I or Jah RasTafari. Yahshua told us," YHWH is a Spirit and they that worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!" We therefore have to worship Yahwah in Spirit not flesh. Certain Rastas do not worship the King for he has sinned like any man. He even said," I am only saved in the blood of Yahshua the Messiah. " They only glorify Yah's Spirit that came within Him, that can also function in any righteous person. To these Rastafarians, the I in I n I stands for YHWH within them, hence I n I. His Majesty even said to not worship the image of man but the Almighty instead! Flesh cannot save you it is only the Spirit can! Rastafarians shouldn't worship flesh, blood, wood, nor stone but Yahwah only. He is Spirit but I couldn't deny that Yahwah can't dwell in man, woman, and child neither. YHWH within us.
So these Rastafarians call RasTafari, Selassie I, & know who they glorify as Creator not the Emperor to them. YAHWAH is & forever will be the ALMIGHTY,(YL SHADDAY), our true CREATOR! Remember who YAHSHUA HA MASHIYACH is the Son of YHWH, there is no other Mashiyach! You should worship the SPIRIT of Yahwah that functioned within the King not the Emperor himself. Each have to find truth for themselves. I on the other hand praise Yahwah as the Most High, and recognize Haile Selassie as only one of the Kings of Israel.
