      JACOB AND ESAU

Greetings in the Name of Yahwah the Eternal Father! Here is an important discussion that I would like to share with you.

"And Yitschaq(Isaac) intreated YAHWAH for his wife, because she was barren: and YAHWAH was intreated of him, and Ribqah(Rebekah) his wife conceived. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of YAHWAH. And YAHWAH said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esav(Esau). And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Ya'aqob(Jacob): and Yitschaq was threescore years old when she bare them. (Bereshiyt-Genesis 25: 20-26)

As we see here, it is two different nations(not races) within Rebekah's womb. Twins were born from her, one came out smooth skinned, the other red & hairy. I've emphasized that the original Yisrayl(Israylites) were dark & smooth skinned as well. But the Bible shows us that Esau came out red and hairy? It is proven that everyone came from Edenites, this is nothing new. Some have assumed that he looked like this?
Was Esav really a European? We can't forget that he came from the Shemitic Lineage not of Yepheth(Japheth). While ones see him having red hair & white skin, the scrips show us that he is red(not white) skinned instead. Esav probably had Black/Brown hair(like his family) not reddish hair, he was just hairy & they were not. Let's continue to read what the Bible shows us here.  "And the boys grew: and Esav was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Ya'aqob was a plain man, dwelling in tents. And Yitschaq loved Esav, because he did eat of his venison: but Ribqah loved Ya'aqob. (Gen 25: 27-28)

Ya'aqob was a dweller among the tents, a cook as well. Esav on the other hand was a hunter. Yitschaq loved Esav and Ribqah loved Ya'aqob more.

THE BIRTHRIGHT STOLEN BY JACOB

And Ya'aqob sod pottage: and Esav came from the field, and he was faint: And Esav said to Ya'aqob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edomiy(Edom). And Ya'aqob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esav said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Ya'aqob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Ya'aqob. Then Ya'aqob gave Esav bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esav despised his birthright.

Right here, we see where Esav is now called Edomiy. Esau sold his birthright to Jacob now. Which is why Yahwah told Ribqah that the younger twin (Ya'aqob), will be served by the older one now(Esav). Thus Ya'aqob has the Birthright now.

        THE BLESSINGS ON JACOB

And it came to pass, that when Yitschaq was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esav his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I. And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death: Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die. And Ribqah heard when Yitschaq spake to Esav his son.

And Esav went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it. And Ribqah spake unto Ya'aqob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esav thy brother, saying, Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before YAHWAH before my death. Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee. Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth: And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death. (Bereshiyt 27: 1-10)

Isaac wanted Esau to cook him food, but Rebekah wanted  Jacob to do it instead.

"And Ya'aqob said to Ribqah his mother, Behold, Esav my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man: My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing. And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them. And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved. And Ribqah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esav, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Ya'aqob her younger son: And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:  And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Ya'aqob. (Genesis 27: 11-17)

Do you see what is being said here? Jacob is smooth skinned like his parents, but Esau is hairy? Some Kuwshites(Ethiopians) are very smooth skinned, but not all. The ancient Hebrews were described like the Kuwshites, " Tall, dark & smooth skinned."  Most Yephites(Europeans) are very hairy like Esav, but not all are hairy as some believe. Yet still, Esau is not Japhethic  but Shemetic. There are hairy Shemites (Esav is a good example of them), & also smooth skinned ones. So we cannot assume that Esav is Yephetic just because of his hairy body.  He probably wasn't very hairy neither, but just a regular modern hairy man.

And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son? And Ya'aqob said unto his father, I am Esav thy firstborn; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me. And Yitschaq said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because YAHWAH brought it to me. And Yitschaq said unto Ya'aqob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esav or not. And Yakob went near unto Yitschaq his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Ya'aqob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esav. And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esav's hands: so he blessed him. And he said, Art thou my very son Esav? And he said, I am.

And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank. And his father Yitschaq said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son. And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which YAHWAH hath blessed:  Therefore, Yah give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee. (Genesis 27: 18-29)

Isaac blessed His son Jacob and once more Jacob stole something from Esau's which was the blessing.

And it came to pass, as soon as Yitschaq had made an end of blessing Ya'aqob, and Ya'aqob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Yitschaq his father, that Esav his brother came in from his hunting. And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son's venison, that thy soul may bless me. And Yitschaq his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esav. And Yitschaq trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed. And when Esav heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father. And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing. (Gen 27: 30-35)

        ESAU'S JEALOUSY ON JACOB

And he said, Is not he rightly named Ya'aqob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me? And Yitschaq answered and said unto Esav, Behold, I have made him thy master, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son? And Esav said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father?

bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esav lifted up his voice, and wept. And Yitschaq his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above; And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck. And Esav hated Ya'aqob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esa said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Ya'aqob. (36-41)

So Esav didn't receive a blessing like Ya'aqob. He and his seed would serve Jacob and his offspring, the Twelve Tribes of Yisrayl, whom we shall learn about later on in another discussion. Ya'aqob is master and Esav is his servant but in the time to come, Esau would come with vengence towards his brother Jacob.
